Co-Founder and Principal

Megan is an architect and founding partner at Place Collaborative, where she leads projects that integrate design, planning, and policy to address regional climate adaptation and resilience strategies. Her work is grounded in resilience and regeneration, with a focus on creating adaptable, high-quality spaces that reduce energy, water, waste, and cost.

She is known for facilitating project charrettes, connecting social, economic, and environmental factors—helping teams and communities apply resilience principles across all scales.

Megan has worked with C40 on achieving a decarbonised and climate-resilient built environment, and has helped advise on decommissioning plans for 12 global cities, with 100 Resilient Cities to improve urban resilience and the AIA on resilient strategies and design. 

Her research is included in the AIA Resilient Project Process Guide, AIA Framework for Design Excellence, AIA Architects Guide to Business Continuity, and the Resilient Design Toolkit.
