Angie Van Duzen

Designer

Angie is a designer who sees architecture as a powerful tool for shaping social connection and supporting community well-being. She has hands-on experience with Public Interest Design projects in both domestic and international settings, often working directly with communities to create meaningful places using repurposed materials and design-build practices.

With a strong focus on community development, Angie has contributed to strategic planning efforts that prioritize local needs and long-term benefit. Her experience spans a wide range of residential projects, including garden- and podium-style mixed-use apartments, townhomes, ADUs and DADUs, and single-family homes. She has also worked on tenant improvements across commercial sectors, from restaurants and fitness centers to warehouses and veterinary clinics.

In every project, Angie centers collaboration and equity. She actively seeks out partnerships with community members and works to remove barriers—ensuring the outcomes of her work reflect shared values and create lasting impact.
