Kenner is an architect and one of the founding partners at Place Collaborative, a firm whose purpose is to discover and share place-based design and policy solutions. Kenner is inspired by nature and is interested in regenerative design strategies including material and building reuse, on-site renewable energy, water independence, and social equity. Kenner has developed a specialty in the area of adaptive reuse Living Buildings, having contributed from the design, owner, and operator point-of-view on a number of such projects.
Kenner is a good collaborator because of his drive to spread the knowledge and practice of sustainable design as well as his ability to not only encourage the expertise and strengths within each member of the team, but also give people the tools they need to build new strengths within sustainable design practice.
